How to write macro in EXCEL?

Hi all,

I have 2 separate excel files, Example1 and Example2.
Say 3rd row, 4th column value of example1.xls file must be given as input in 2nd row, 4th column of example2.xls file. I know how to do it without using macros.can anyone give me some tips how to write macro for this?
