I'm doing science fair right now, and it requires a background research paper. It says i need a clear and concise thesis that states the topic. my experiment is:
What effect does tap water, mineral water and seltzer water have on the germination and growth of sunflower seeds?
To test the problem we will buy a packet of sunflower seeds and place them in their respective pots. We will water one with tap water, another with mineral water and the third sunflower seed with seltzer water. The independent variable would be the time (each day) and the dependent variable will be how much it grew (height). The data would be how much each sunflower grew each day. We will measure the plant growth using centimeters and measure the time using days.
So what would my thesis statement be. . ?
