I know there's a way to wire the amp to the stereo but i'm not sure how to do it
I have an old car stereo that doesn't even have RCA jacks on the back of it. I need to somehow wire some speaker wire to an RCA cord so I can use it with the amp but i'm not sure how...

It probably wouldnt be worth doing. Im trying to remember this, so dont get mad if it doesnt work.
But you just hook up the amp like normal.
Connect power, and ground cable.
Remote will be bridged to the positive on the amp. So you will need a kill switch for the power cable.
speaker cables from the stereo run straight to the amp, and then from the amp to the speakers.
My first car had this setup... It was booming! Im sure that was all there was to it. Might be wrong.

Some amplifiers have "high-level" or "speaker-level" inputs. If your amp has these, then you can connect it directly to your speaker wiring.

Otherwise, you can purchase a device called a line output converter. This connects to the speaker wires and produces a low-level output through RCA jacks. Line output converters are extremely common, and can be found at any car audio shop. Look for a model with an output level adjustment.

You don't have to disconnect the existing speakers to hook up an amplifier, whether you're using high-level inputs or a line output converter.
