How to wire 3 4ohm dual voice coil subs with a dual channel amp?

I have the audiobahn 2300HCT amp.
I also have 3 Alpine Type R subs. All of which are dual voice coil 4 ohm subs.

How do I wire these? Try to keep the ohm load as low as possible because we all know how audiobahn amps are.

I saw a diagram telling you to wire each coil parallel then wire the subs series, but that was to a monoblock amp giving you 3ohms... Any ideas/suggestion for a dual channel amp?
(Other than buy a new amp, ofcourse)
 
bridge the two outputs of the amp the run the voice coils Parallel and then go grab some ear plugs dude... i have one premier 10 inch sub the Competition series with 2500 watts with the pioneer d3 running it and im going deaf... i love alpine i know how they are and your gonna hurt your ears
 
That amplifier isn't stable below 4 ohms mono. So the lowest stable ohm load that you could wire the subs to is 6. Wire the coils in parallel, essentially giving you 3, 2 ohm woofers. Wiring the speakers together in series will give you a 6 ohm load.

If you were to wire the coils in series and the subs in parallel, you'd end up with a 2.667 ohm load. But, more than likely, the amp would go straight to protect mode. Or, you would damage the amp.

At 6 ohms you will end up with about 2/3 of the bridged RMS of the amp, split between the subs.
 
You can't run them all in parallel because that will put your below the 1 ohm limit for your amp, you need to run each voice coil in parallel, and then run the subs in series. This will put you at 2.6 Ohms, you can then run this load to the amp (bridge channles to mono). This wont produce the most power, but it's the only way to wire them without toasting your amp.

BTW, if you really want to push those Type R's, sell that POS audiobahn amp, (they look cool, so they'll sell for alot, but they arn't anywhere close to pushing the power they say). There is a 160 amp fuse in the amp from the factory, which means that even if this amp was 100% efficeint, and your car was running a solid 14volts, the amp would still not hit the stated wattage o_O !?!? Sell it and try to get 3 Alpine MRP-M500s (one for each sub).
