How to water a garden without a hose?

I'm planting a garden and trying to figure out a way to water it since the hose is down two hills and two fences. The house is still too far away for a rain barrel also.

You'll have to hire a Jack N Jill... You know to go up the hill and fetch a pail of water.. Why would you put a garden so far away from a water source..?

I would suggest purchasing drought resistant plants so you don't have to worry about watering them.

Can you drive from the source to the garden?

Farm stores sell tanks that you could fill with water and then take to the garden for watering.

Plant the garden closer to the water source.

I'm going to agree with getting drought resistant plants. They should be fine between rainfalls.
