The browser's history is not normally set for that long. I'm not even sure you it could. To view the recent history, you have a button at the top of Internet Explorer. You'll find it by hovering over the icons.
To set how long history is retained, click on Tools/internet options. In the history window, set the number of days you wish and click on apply/ok.
