Hi all,
I have Sensor Tool v1.3, but I don't know how to use it.I wonder that: Is it ok if I load a blk file (download from internet) to phone or I have to edit some battery value? Anyone give me instruction? It's ok if someone send me instruction document (English) via e-mail: [email protected]
Thanks in advance!

I've found a german guide how to use sensor tool

http://sl45.darkzone.lu/anleitungen/sensortool.htm

the problem is that sensor tool 1.3 can only read the voltage (you need this to calculate your custom values) for some older mobiles because neither it does recognize the sw version nor there is a entry for the silk voltage sensor address in the ini-file

if someone would know this it would be great because i've got 1250mAh

There were a lot of threads about adjusting, but exactly no one knows how to do that.
The solution is that I have two blk settings:
one for 540mAh
and one for 1000mAh
I can send them.
I use them and my big accu works for 1 week and 1 day.

About the German guide.

This guide was already published at multifund (if I'm right about this site). I've read this guide but my german isn't quiet good. All I want to say is that they describe a method of 'trial and error'. So there is some little! risk when doing this one. I never tried it but I think it could work for everybody.

No .blk file seems to work perfectly on an other mobile but when using this 'trial and error' method everybody can find out his own battery values.

Yes, I hear somebody tell that everyone have to findout his own battery value, but I don't know how to do that, steps?
Who can post instruction in English here or link about it?

Hi, I have blk for v56 with 540 and 650 mAh bat. Now I'm using 720mAh bat( modified from a Nokia 6100 bat.). Please send me via email or post here 1000mAh blk. Thanks in advance!

About the german guide.

No its no trail and error method (i'm native german) it discribes how to calculate the values by reading the voltage values off a full charged battery and an empty battery. but without out sensor address its a little bit complicated another problem is to get the battery full charged because the mobile stops charging when a preset value is reached so you have to charge it externly.

Could you send me your blk for standard 540 battery? or just post it here in the thread. Thanks!

Hello!
Trustkill will upload the blk's to this page.
My email messenger has died, I will post the blk's in the end of the week to those emails I have recieved.

The using:
Run Sie.Sensor Tools.
Turn off phone.
Load the blk file from winchester with "read file".
select "write phone".
Connect phone to sync after 10-20 secs.
blk will be overwrited.
exit prog.
take down the akku.
take up the akku.
turn on phone.

I heard someone said that Siemens seem to have a secret method (know-how) about blk; although thousands of SL45's firmware is completely similar, but blk Siemens put into every phone is Ok for only it, not other.
@krafte: If you don't mind, pls translate usage of Sensor Tool into English and post here!

Can someone post a link to new Sensor Tools v1.3? I have v1.1 and it doesn't work all right with my phone. It messes up everythoing and I have to reinstall fubu...

I fullflash with 54 version, and after them fullflash with 56 version and GSM is ok.
But still careful with sensor tool,
I have 30 and maybe more patches in my phone, and I lose all of them...

I was wondering what is ment with these actions? What must I do with "Connect phone to sync after 10-20 secs." does it mean that you just have to put the 'red' button on the phone to flash and that this will take 10-20 seconds?

Another one:
There was said in some older threads that the phone battery have to be FULL when you want to overwrite the .blk file. Why is that? and is that step very important? can somebody explain me that one?

I've read some nice reply's on this forum about the "new" .blk files. Are those really that good? (I don't know, just asking for your experience with them). I have a 1100 mAh battery, do you think that the 1000 mAh .blk file will work for my battery?

maybe a lot of questions but it will really help me when I understands them...it's just so anoying nobody had/have a good solution for the "battery problems".

greetzzz, Shibby
