How to use my bluetoothed(?) ringtones on my Sanyo Incognito?

Ok...so I bought a Sanyo Incognito from Boost Mobile...very tricky phone. I'm used to T-mobile or At&T....so a friend of mine sent me 16 ringtones via bluetooh...i can't use not a single one. Why? I don't know why!!! Another friend sent me a ringtone via text msg. I saved it. I tried to assign it for my incoming calls. When I did the message was: "invalid data cannot save"...i'm so flustered...
