How to use Midi Mode with Gsnap in FL studio 9?

I've got a midi piano keyboard, and Gsnap installed to FL studio. I understand perfectly how to use the fixed mode, but Midi mode is what confuses me. Do I need to set input and output ports? What channels do I set it to? How do I make it auto tune a pattern based on the pitches of another pattern? How can I record my voice and make it auto tune as I press a key on my midi keyboard? I'd a quick tutorial that explains how to work midi mode with FL studio.
 
I didn't post this here, even though I did write the question in Yahoo Answers. But I suppose an answer here would work as well.
