Ok, so I have a bicycle pump, a type called a "Floor pump", where you stand over it and push down on the pump, with both hands on the handle. It comes with different needle attachments conveniently hidden in the handle. Now, when I stick the steel needle to the tip of the hose, and insert it into the ball, and I start pumping as I would inflate a bike wheel, there is an extra hole (a similar size of hole as the one I have the needle in) where the air would come out, thus not inflating the ball at all. I try to plug it with my finger, while inflating, doing so very awkwardly; However, there is too much pressure coming out to hold it in with just my finger. What am I doing wrong? Is there another attachment that is supposed to plug up that second hole? (strangely, this extra hole doesn't interfere when I pump a bike wheel though - not sure why). HELP! Looked online but no help, and the pump did not come with instructions...
