How to unlock a motorola l7?

In my case I have forgotten my unlock code so what I did is I pressed the call key or the left key, i am not 100% sure which 1 it was and then I was asked to enter my security code which is 000000(all the way through) unless u have changed it. Its all free no programs to install nothing just that.I hope it helps for people who have the same problem as me
