how to uninstall standard cd/radio in pontiac grand am 2001?

a coin and cd are stuck in my cd player basically. i need to take out the cd player, but the front dash panel over it can't be fully taken off because the panel wraps around my engine starter (were i put my key). how do you take out the player then?
