How to unflood a yamaha aerox?

I have got a yamaha aerox with a 70cc big bore kit on it. I was riding it last night and it cut out then the kick start would not move then i managed to move it. This mornin the kick start moves but doesnt turn over the engine. I have just put a new spark plug in and i think its flooded
Any ideas how to unflood one of these? Thanks
 
Remove the spark plug

Ground the spark plug on the cylinder head

Spin the engine over several times

Watch for spark on the spark plug. No spark and it won't run. No spark and further investigation is required to find out why.

Allow the engine to set without the spark plug installed for a couple of hours

Spin the engine over several times again without the spark plug installed

Reinstall the spark plug and try to start

If it doesn't start, try a shot of starting fluid. If it still doesn't start, maybe this is a good time to admit that this is beyond your abilities and bring it to the shop.
