Well here is my second how to post complete with pictures to make it easier

Tools Needed:
Cdma workshop (new Verison)
Samsung PST with u-350 dll

Ok first things first...Please remeraber DO NOT post dll or any links to programs in my or your post..Also GOOGLE is your friend please search before asking questions..Please feel free to bump my post to keep it on top


Ok to get started open cdma workshop to unlock the phones spc code. Connect the phone using the proper com port.

Next click connect to connect to the phone and click on security(screen should look like this)

Go to password (16digits) and choose the u350 password. click send. This will give you your spc. then click spc and send then rewrite to 000000.(must be done with cdma workshop 3.4.0 or higher)

After your done with that write whatever prl your using and close out workshop. After phone resets open samsung pst and choose the u350 dll click on settings, select all and read from phone and follow the pictured below
MDN is your nuraber

Now enjoy your fully flashed u350
 
Oh, by the way you really don't need CDMA Workshop at all. I don't know if anybody else posted this but you can merely take the phone from prepaid to post paid in Samsung PST and it will reset the darn thing to 000000. Easy.
 
I flash this phone it work , pic messages , but wap work for a day , now it give me connection error , try everything over and over again same problem , how to fix it ?
 
Thanks for the help I tried to use your mmc file but when I write to file it shows it did, but when i go back into phone it goes back to original settings. Guess I will have to keep looking for PST because lite does not do it.
I will still keep looking for PST maybe someday google will be my friend.
Thanks for the nice mmc file maybe I will get to put it to use soon.
 
Nice file u put out there thanks alot but for some reason lite does not put the file on there. When I wrote the file to phone it showed it wrote it but then went back into phone read file it showed the original settings. Guess I will have to keep searching for PST but all the info I have found are the lite. Maybe someday google will be my friend.

im trying to use this with PST but everytime I try to load mmc file it says cannot open com port ive tried all ports on my laptop and even switched port nurabers.. anyone have a similar problem?
 
Ok i finally got PST wrote mmc to phone but when trying to go to internet I get DNS: invalid host is specified any ideas

I do EVERYTHING with SPST, even unlocking (Just read Security Grouping too). Save mmc file, and when I write it to the next one I dont even have to read what the SPC was. Just remeraber to change the MDN/MIN where necessary if you are using mmc.
 
Awesome Tutorial!!! Worked great with CDMA 2.7 & Samsung PST. Still have Gateway Time-out error HTTP/1.1 504 with WAP though. Followed tut to the T! Pix make it so much easier.
 
You may have to reprogram that phone. Also change the phone setting to Home Only.

Have fully flash about a hundred of these. Selling at $100 -$120 each fully flash. It's a good phone.

You may have solved this problem. But..

For the Samsung I always detect the phone with Qpst first before I open any program. Detect the phone. Then close Qpst. Then open PST. Works every time.

Good to have multiple cables handy. I've had these M300 cables just quit working on me several times.

I also work with 2 laptops. Once and awhile I'm not able to detect the phone with the main laptop. So I'd connect it to the backup laptop. Detected it with Qpst. Then when I reconnected it to the main laptop again, it detected. Weird.
 
I am also having a problem with the gateway error one question is do you have to use QPST and select 1xEVDO->1x under the PPP config file? I think I might have solved my problem because I flashed one with my hometown PRL 1042 but did not set the SYSTEM SELECT SETTING to HOME ONLY. Then I changed it and it worked right away. Then I flashed another one with PRL 7743 which was reported to me as Cricket Nationwide non-EVDO but not sure if it being a nationwide not native prl the wap would not work. I also changed the SYSTEM SELECT SETTING to HOME ONLY on that phone and still no luck. One other problem I have been having is the first phone works for everything now except whenever I receive a pic it's downloaded but displays a question mark image. I'm not sure if it's the phone now or the network. Countless searches have been made but nothing except your response about the system select thing, let me know you feedback.
