I'm making a disc swing for my son--I'm planning on using a slip knot to attach it to the tree, but I'm not sure what kind of knot to use to hold the swing on the rope. The hole I made in the swing is larger than I would've liked at 1.25" and the rope is about .75", the disc has a 14" diameter. I have a little time as I have just finished applying the third coat of spar varnish to the disc.
How to tie a disc swing to a tree properly?
