How to test a 1999 ford ranger A/C? Its not blowing very cold air?

When switch is truned to Max AC it changes air flow back and forth from dash vents to defrost vents.

Re-charge it.
Go to any autoparts store and buy a A/C recharge kit.
~$15, follow the instructions.
