if you are meaning to much as in acid reflux, then most people dont actually produce more acid than the average normal healhty person unless they have been diagnosed with a deasease which i cant remeraber the name of, but does cause a large production of acid, anyway acid reflux is not nesscary from to much acid, its from the aicd we have getting where it shouldnt be ie into the throat etc, hence we get symptoms, acid reflux can be from lots of different reasons but bascally somehting causes the splincer muscle to not work, this could be just a machanical fault or could be from celeac deasease causing indigestion, gas etc............if you are having reflux you will have symptoms such as neasuea, heartburn, chest pains, sore throat, voice weakness, flem. cough, tight feeling in throat, lump in throat, ear ache or fullness, post nasel drip, and genereal indigestion pains..wow thats heaps and i have had most of them except heatburn!!!
