Ok so i have a rottweiler, hes 3, nearly 4. Weve really babied him up, most friendliest dog you will ever meet, he likes to play and hes really not the type of dog to attack someone, when he sees someone he will like, stand up tall and act really dominant towards people which can scare them but hes really just a baby, i want to teach my rotty 2 things, how to ATTACK because the neighbourhood i live in can get pretty rough sometimes and i need some protection, i want him to attack on command, i would NEVER EVER let him off the leash if i made him attack someone, if they got scared and went away, i would walk away, however if the person attempted to attack me, i would have to let him off the lash, but im not the type of person to do that.
so i want to teach him to attack
and how to walk nicely,
ive recently started walking him around new neighbourhoods, so hes sniffing, marking his territory, and REALLY pulls me. I want him to calm down abit because when he sees a pole, he PULLS really hard. Hes a massive dog, what i did last night was hold him really close to me and whenever he would pull i would yank his leash alittle and he would stop, once we got around half way around the block, he began to walk alittle better, should i continue with that or does anyone have some other advice?
Please help me!
