How to take photos on Disneyland rides?

I am going to Disneyland and am looking for some tips on settings to set my camera (Canon XSi) to get well lit photos.

I see the photos of for example the Pirates ride, how do they achieve this lighting? Without using flash?
Or the photos of the abominable snowmen without the ride stopping?
