How to take care of greasy hair while camping?

I will be camping and usually wash my hair everyday. I will not be able to and wonder if there is a way to make my hair less greasy while I am unable to wash it. I dont want to wear a hat everyday. What do I do?

get it wet and use hair gel if you can do that scrunchy look...or just a little baby powder and shaking out your hair with your fingers. Have fun camping!

buy "dry shampoo".
it's like a spray or cream that you put in your hair that makes it look like you washed it even if you didn't.

Try hair powder. The powder soaks up the grease. It sounds weird, but it really works. Plain ol' cornstarch or baby powder works, but if you have dark hair, it can look weird. Bumble & Bumble makes a great hair powder you can use that even comes in 4 shades. It's just called Bumble & Bumble Hair Powder.

I've also heard that using oil blotting sheets (the kind used for a greasy face) work on oily hair. I know Clinique and Clean & Clear make them. Also check out "dry shampoos". One of my friends is OBSESSED.

Putting your hair in ponytail, wearing a bandana, or...yes, a cute hat or visor are easy ways to deal with it. And don't worry, most people will be in your shoes. No one expects perfection on a camping trip. Good luck!

Honestly it's best to get use to the grease while camping. Sure it's nice to clean up, and if you're near a river or lake you'll have that option. You'll also have to get use to oily skin, which bothers a lot of people at first. Oil is your body's method of fighting off disease and infection... it's kind of like an automatic second layer of protection.
