How to take a key out of the ignition of a honda cbr 600?

my key snapped/broke in half and the bottom half of it is down the ignition on a 2000 Honda cbr F4, and all the key places/stores to take it out out are closed. any ideas on how i can get it out? If not, can i just give my bike serial number to Honda and get another key made?
