How to switch Sprint phone to Boost Mobile?

I have been hearing about how you can use a Sprint cell phone on a Boost Mobile account.
How do I do that? Ive heard about flashing, What is that?
I just need to know how to switch a Sprint phone to a Boost mobile account.
I am currently one ATT pay as you go, and want Boost, but I dont like there phones.
