I have a very intelligent border collie puppy who is top of his class at puppy school, but we have a huge problem with him in that he keeps digging up our garden.
He has another Collie for company, gets walked each day and I am at home all day (I childmind) so there is no reason for him to be digging.
When we have caught him digging we have told him no and tapped him on the bottom, he has not responded to this so we have then started to smack him on the bottom and say no, but still he is digging.
I wondered if there are any dog trainers out there who can offer me some advice/suggestions as my puppy loves being outside, but it is literally getting to the point where we cannot allow him outside unattended which is sad as he loves being outside.
Any help much appreciated!!
