How to sprint faster?

I have all of spring and summer to train.
Anyone know any good exercises that augment your sprinting speed?

I would be nice if you'd give me information proven by experience.

....and not some random copied+pasted article you find, because there are a lot of very non-practical, inefficient methods that just sound like they work.

I know there's probably hundreds of questions like these,
so PLEASE don't answer if you've never been involved in running before (in real life).
