Ok I am currently babysitting for a couple and the husband told me something in confidence that was meant as a joke but wasnt made clear to be a joke until later I relayed the information to his wife and now I have really opened a can of worms any suggestions on how to mend the fence with them?
Ok the joke was that he thought she had feelings for a man she worked with and so he made a joke that he was in love with me but his personality in how he jokes is the same as when he is serious so he is hard to figure out when he is joking or serious.
