i have a nice show tank i used to have for fish. i'm thinking about putting aquatic turtles in there. i have this bak-pak filter that hangs from the top. and i would like to put it to use. the powerhead is short to suck water up because i'm only filling the tank halfway. should i get a tall plastic silicone and fill it with water and put it where the powerhead can suck the water in? is that the only way it can work?
