How to set up to DJ with a MIDI controller?

I have been told that when getting a MIDI controller, either get one with a built in soundcard to be able to monitor with headphones, or that I will have to get a separate sound card.

So I got a MIDI controller with a built in sound card.

And I am using virtual DJ. So when setting up the output, how should I set it up....??

I am very confused as to which sound card should be assigned for which output.
