how to set up my webcam with built in microphone?

All is working but not the microphone.I did not use my headset bec. I wanted everybody to here what my mom and dad is saying so i just plug in the USB and the Pink jack of my webcam at the back of the CPU and plug in the audio jack of my speakers too. We could here and see the party we are talking too but they could not hear us. can anybody provide a step by step instruction ?
