How to set custom ringtones for alarms, text msg and emails on HTC Touch Pro?

Hi,

I have an HTC Touch Pro and have downloaded some alerts for emails, texts, etc., however when I go into notifications and select the drop-down menu of alerts they are not there. I saved them in my Ringtones folder <:-)
