I have a 98 Honda Accord that im trying to sell fast. It only has 146000 miles on it. Car has lots of extras like intake, exaust, 18'' wheels and lowering. How can I sell this car really quick for around $5500? Have tried craigslist

Get it Certified. That will always attract people. Also try posting it in your local paper. it might cost you 20 bucks but that's not really a bad price if it moves your car.

P.S for lots of buyers, cold air intake and exhaust just tells them that your a kid who drove the piss out of it and therefor might not be as reliable as another car of the same vintage. Also, many peolpe only care about miles, Intakes and mods don't really add much value to the car. A car with thousands of dollars worth of mods don't matter if the block only lasts another month right? Mods are for the person who owns the vehicle. too many people think they can get alot more for their car because it has mods. it's not an investment, it's for fun. You might want to look at your car and compare it to other cars for sale with the same or similar year and miles. See how your price compares. You might need to drop the price down some.

If you want to sell it quickly, you will have to price it fairly. Be honest when you go to Kelly Blue Book about the condition, this will give you an idea of what to ask. Get ready to haggle.

Take white shoe polish and write for sale in the back of your car and your number so when you drive by people you catch there attention in the mean time wash your car or detail it and take eye pleasing photos of your car and post it on craigslist and tell people that it must go and if you can spend a few dollars to put it on a auto magazine.

I would buy it! But I probably don't live by you.

In order to sell it for the price YOU want it, you need to do everything you can. Put it in the newspaper, post it on used car selling internet sites, put it in the driveway and put a for sale sign in it, put a picture of it on google images saying for sale, you can do many many things, not just craigslist.

Though, if you want to sell it super fast you may need to lower the price. Most people who would buy it wouldn't like exaust, and a lowered car. I would atleast lower it to 5,000$, if it doesn't sell by a month, lower it to 4,500$. Or maybe just wait to sell it until graduation, because then people get their licenses, and can drive. And they are going to try to look for a decent car. I don't know about you but I wouldn't like to be stuck with a freakin' 1930's car.

Good luck!
