How to safely change oil filter in 03 ford taurus? Urgent!?

Already got the oil drained, but trying to get the oil filter off was a mess. Sparks flew everywhere. I dont know how to get it off, because it keeps shocking me everytime I touch it. Finally got the oil filter wrench off it, but the filter just wont come off. Theres now a hole in it, from the sparks. Any help is appreciated!!
You guys dont have to be rude, people change their oil everyday. This is my first time doing it, excuse me.
 
Umm, is the car off? Battery too? I've had 3 Tauruses (Taurii?) over the years, and I've never had a sparking issue with the oil filter. Maybe your car is not grounded properly, or there is a fuse/electrical problem. Either way, oil filters aren't supposed to spark. There's definitely something else going wrong with your car. Be careful, though. Oil and other fliuds in your car are very flammable.
 
1. Unhook the battery as previously suggested.
2. Use a filter wrench to remove the filter, you could be turning it backwards. Lefty loosey, righty tighty - tougher to figure out upside down.
3. If all else fails, jam a screw driver through it to turn it
4. If this fails, use a chisel tip punch near the base of the filter and hit it with a hammer to break it loose.
5. Tow your car to a shop and never try to do maintenance yourself again.
6. Fix the ground problem.
 
Disconnect both of the battery terminals from the leads that connect them to the car. That way you won't get electrocuted. Then you can work on the filter.
 
Well your car is a piece of American s**t so why not buy a car from a country that can actually manufacture reliable ones like Japan, Germany etc.
