I want to root my phone. It is an HTC Desire and my laptop has windows 7. I don't understand a lot of "geek speak" (although I'd like to think I'm at least a little computer savvy), so please try to keep it simple when you're explaining it to me 
I'd also like to know how to delete things like footprints, peep, flickr, etc. Btw, it keeps telling me that I have low phone space, but I looked and I still have over 4gb left. It's extremely annoying because it won't let me view my texts! Anyways, if you need additional info let me know. Thanks in advance!
