Took this one outside of my girlfriend's house just as the sun was rising.
 
I use www.3gupload.com there I can upload games, pics, tones; or I can chose from their gallery of games, pics, tones, applications, and other cool stuff. There is a section called "Locker" where you upload your stuff, then go online on the phone to that locker, and download it like that. It was like $6 for a year, and its unlimited, except for music tones, which are about $1 each. I LOVE that site.

When you sign up, you put in your phone type, and when you upload pics, it resizes the pics to fit your phone display, its just really neat.

Those are Sushi :D~~ One in a cup had rice in the bottom and spicy tuna topping. The orange color one was also some sort of Spicy Tuna maki.

I was disappointed in the quality of picture too (T_T)

I am totally clueless when it comes to Artes nowadays, I've held a clone in my hand and I had no idea...They seem to be spot on appearence-wise, technical specifications are most likely off even though I didn't get to turn it on

I am starting to think that those housings are real but the guts are different..The reason I think this is that housings are made in China even in genuine Nokias, even if they are assembled in Finland, Germany or Korea (or Made by Nokia)

I was gonna wait for the next price drop but I may not buy the Arte at all if I can't even be sure what I am getting
 
Im not exactly sure what you are saying. Almost everyone here understands quite well the issue of carrier subsidies and how that might effect price. So if I buy an $800 unlocked phone from Nokia or HTC, I know that others may get it with a contract for a lot less on some carrier. People are quite aware of that and buy the phone based on which best fits their needs. Fakes are something entirely different.
 
Why support the counterfeiters by buying a clone.? They are a waste of space, and damaging the market place.

Im doing all I can to stop these clones, particularly with the Nokia handsets anyway. I have even been working closely with the BBC "Watchdog" in the UK, who are compiling a documentary regarding them, its an ongoing investigation, which hopefully, the outcome will be a similar style "Cook Report" program.

Don't play into the hands of these outlets.!
 
As long as you can see the OS, it's pretty obvious if it's real or fake.. Just make sure to order it from a reputable shop and you have nothing to worry about... Unfortunately, these scammers have made eBay and places like it places to avoid.. Too bad eBay doesn't police these things better :(
 
Hey thanks for agreeing with me. People buy PHONES on what best meets there needs....so people buy cheaper phones instead of being rapped by the big boys. I have all the function of a phone.....make and receive calls and a few nice perks to go along with it. Oh and I only paid 100 bucks.
 
Does anyone have any idea when the Nokia N8 is going to be released. I want one bad enough to have it imported.
 
oh give me a break. you guys make me laugh. if someone wants to get something cheap let them. what is it hurting really? not like i can get one of them since i can't even aford the clone let along the real things though. i am someone that gets the cheapest of anything they can. not name brand? who cares. i don't understand why name brands matter at all. even phone company's like samsung phones copy other phones. does that make them clones too and should be reported? really now. get over it. some people just want something cheap no mater what it is. sorry if i am going over board or something. now let me go back to my generic life.
 
Anyone have any idea why when i receive MMS, the picture is really small? On my E71, the picture was about full screen size. Also, when i send pictures to other people via MMS, they receive a small thumbnail as well.

Any ideas?
 
Can you check what resolutions of the photos you are receiving?

On the same note, I can't even sent an MMS with a picture that I have taken on the phone (at 5MP). It is supposed to be resizing I guess, but when I select the picture I get an "Object not supported error"
 
Hi

I am in the market for a basic smart phone that has 3g, Wi-Fi and great e-mail support. I am looking at the Nokia E63 and E71 and both seem very good in terms of specs and features.

I will be using this phone for e-mail, web surfing and general calling. I know the E71 has a GPS function, amongst other things.

So, what is the better phone at the end? I heard that Nokia E series does not have a true e-mail push feature like BB?
