How to revert to last OS

Okay so I have the original Motorola Droid 1 and I recently upgraded to Android 2.2 and am thoroughly dissapointed. I want to go back to whatever version of Android I had before, be it 2.1 or 1.?? Does anyone know what version of Android I was running on the Droid before this or how I can undo this update?

Thanks.

This HAS to be a troll because there's nothing but improvements. Unless they don't like the home screens. Get launcher pro from the market. You really are disappointed with the increase of performance, better battery life, flash, apps to sd, multi touch virtual keyboard and the updates that cam with many of the apps?

There really is no increase in performance, the battery gets sucked dry in no time, flash doesn't work, most apps cant be moved to sd, and whats the point of a multi touch keyboard anyway???

well you're obviously not rooted so it's not like you're losing apps due to them not being sd card compatible. so no real loss there. the multi touch key board is great if you're a fast typer since you most likely put one finger down before you've completely lifted the other one off. and as far as battery, performance, and flash? you installed a bad update :/ don't blame the 2.2. blame the source or user

You suck at updating. :shrugs: read up on rooting your phone. The first step in that is downgrading to 2.0. From there you'll eventually be asked again to update.

jarhead - thing is, you're one of the very, very few (in fact i think you're the first and only that i've seen?) who has not had a considerable performance increase from the 2.2 update.

i would definitely take the time to look at how you have your phone configured to work out why that might be.

you might want to consider wiping your phone? it's easy to set up for that to be a relatively painless process.

No way. I could keep this up for days. I have an old moto rizr you can have. Its not as difficult as an ota update and gets great battery life

Again, you keep saying I can't do something, you do realize that YOU didn't do the same thing I didnt do, don't you??? Thats the point of an OTA update, the user does nothing. I think you better rethink your "I can go for days" stance buddy, you have nothing to stand on!

And yes, you are a child, go back and reread this thread and you will see how childish you are.
Sorry but the truth hurts doesn't it.
