I just purchased the new EnV Touch (and am loving it) but I want to get my pictures and media off of my previous phone (Chocolate 2). Can I do this by puchasing a micro SD card and putting it in my old phone and saving the info to the card and then putting the card in my new phone? Will this work? What other options to I have?

I am wanting to purchase the memory card anyways for my new phone cause it takes great pics and videos so I see myself using it more than my digital camara now.

Also, once I have pics on my memory card can I upload those to my laptop so I can print them? Any special programs needed for that?

Thanks!

yes the memory card thing works, i did the same thing when i switched phones...its nice to have cuz you can store alot more pictures and videos :)

I had the same problem when I upgraded my phone this year. What I ended up doing is having the store where I bought the new phone transfer my pix over via Bluetooth. It only took about 5 minutes...where the problem lay was that the resolution on my old phone was different than the new phone so the pictures (the main one I wanted was of my dog who passed away in February) are now somewhat distorted. So that was disappointing. But they also said I could do the memory card trick that you referred to. And yes, you can also use the card to transfer the data to your computer. Ain't technology wonderful?
