I have Windows XP, not wireless.

I did the following:

. Going to Network and Dial Up Connections in the Start -> Control Pannel
2. Going to your local area connection
3. Click "Properties"
4. Click "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)"
5. Then again click "Properties"
6. Selecting the "Use the Following IP Address"

But then I have to use an ip address available on my network and i'm not sure how to find ip addresses that i can use.

i'm not a computer engineer so help me out with the smallest words possible haha
thanks :)

Hi you can visit this site Ip-details.com here you can get the network ip address. First you can check system network ip and that site(ip-details) ip address both are same. You can use it that ip address.
