How to replace the old casette with cd player?

I have a Ford Taurus 1999 (sedan) equipped with casette player. Now I want to replace the casette player with CD player. Can I do that? What parts/equipment I have to buy? How much the total cost do you think?
 
You can go to Best Buy and purchase a cd player and have them install it for you. They will know which ones will fit in your car.

Or you can purchase a factory model on Ebay and install it yourself. I've done that with 2 vehicles of mine.
 
Why not just go to Best Buy, buy the system that you like, and then have them install it? Unless they changed their policies, they install the system for free if you buy it from them. Depending on what system you get, you can get one for about a little more than $100.
