How to replace the crankshaft sensor on a 2002 Ford Taurus SES?

I just bought this car and drove it from 3 hours away with no problems, i parked the car at my house for about a month, went to start the car and the check engine light came on, I plugged my code reader and it told me that the crankshaft sensor is defective. Where is it located on my car?
