There should be phillips-head screws at the corners. If not you may have to open the trunk to get at it.
Either way, it isn't diff.

Geez, you try to help a guy out and he gives you a thumbs down. Well, Jiggidy, knock yourself out and fix it big-boy, we all knew you could do it. :O

Somebody hit and ran smashing my tail light lens, have inspection this month, bought the part. Haven't tried replacing it yet, but was wondering if someone had some insight on how to replace it and if it is difficult?
I didnt give thumbs down, atleast not on purpose, thanks for your answer

There should be two philps screws like said above, maybe they are torx head now that I think about it, or there might be bolts on the inside of the trunk... anyway take out any visible screws on the outside of the assembly, then make sure you unplug any harness if possible fomr inside the trunk (not all vehicles you can), then there should be two plastic clips holding the assembly in still, usually a little tug will do and it will come out. Done. Not a hard job by any means.

the newer cars all have to have the entire light repaced. the nuts that hold it in are inside the trunk and may be behind a trim panel if i remember right they will be 10 mm.
