how to replace jeep wrangler tj bulbs on the flares?

i have a 1997 jeep wrangler tj and i need to replace my bulb on the fender flares but there just not coming out. i don't know if im doing something wrong or if there it a twist to put into it but they just wont come out. let me know if they should just pop out with a pull or a twist.

Did you unscrew the lens before the lamp change ? Give this a shot and you ought to be in the light.
