G Galaxie500XL Guest Oct 22, 2009 #2 The crank sensor sits behind the harmonic balancer, the balancer has to be taken off. Not too bad of a job, the last one I did took about two hours with simple handtools, and a torque wrench to put the balancer bolt back on at the proper tightness.
