How to remove the thermostat of a 1996 Buick Regal 3.1L V6?

The thermostat isn't easy to reach as the air intake and the exhaust manifold (I think) are blocking the thermostat from being reached. I really need help in figuring out how I can remove parts so I can easily reach the thermostat. Thanks.
 
Check the top radiator hose where it connects onto the top of the engine and the adaptor where the hose clamps on will have the thermostat directly under it. All you have to do is to remove the two bolts that hold the adaptor to the head and you'll find it under it.
