how to remove the date from my pictures and how to turn flash on and off? (canon sd630)?

i want to remove the date that shows on the corner of the pictures, how would you remove it?
(need step by step instructions)

i also want to know how to turn your flash on and off on this camera.
(also step by step instructions)
