How to remove the annoying lines from IE that appear because of a background flash?

We are developing a portal and some horrid lines appear upon each refresh in internet explorer when we open a container. the lines are appearing clearly because of a flash object in the background, can any one suggest how to get rid of them specifically for IE7?
