How to remove part of interior trim in 2003 Honda civic hybrid?

I am repairing the fuel door release latch in my 2003 Honda civic. In the tutorial it says I have to remove a piece of trim around the hood release trigger. It also says on order to do that I need to pop two white buttons. But it doesn't elaborate as to where or how. I dot wanna crack anything. I was wondering if someone could help. Thanks!
