how to remove clutch pin from clutch cover on a 1999 kawasaki zx6-r?

trying to take clutch cover off but the clutch pin is in place and riveted to the clutch cable on a lever i cant get the pin out and i cant get the cover off. what is the process
 
Get a manual/download one or leave it alone.Something ain't right here my instincts tell me.
