I have a Chevy Cavalier. As far as I know, for now, we will not be purchasing a bigger car. I'd like to wait until I get my tax return and pay off the rest of my current car loan, which isn't that much, and then next March get a bigger car.
However, since my car IS a 4 door, it shouldn't be too difficult. But, my son is 2 and in a convertible car seat on the left side of the car in the back (behind the driver's seat).
I know we are gonna be using a carrier, infant seat with a base for the first few months.
Should I put the infant seat on the right side of the car in the back (behind the passanger's seat) or should I try to squeeze the infant seat right in the middle? I just don't think it's going to fit if I try to put them that close together side by side, nor do I think it's gonna be safe to have them jammed up against each other like that...but I also worry about the infant seat being safe if it's on the very far right side of the car.
What should I do until we can get a bigger car in March of 2010?
