I just got a LG Gossip cellphone a couple days ago and wanted to put my own custom ring tones on it. So I tried both directly on the phone and on my memory card putting both .mp3 files and .wav files. Wav doesn't even show up and when I go to select an mp3 it doesn't make any sound (like when your selecting a ring tone and it will play it) and then when I tried to call my cell it did nothing and went to voice mail. I know it's on the right setting because it works with a pre-set ringtone fine, also the volukme is turned right up. The mp3 I put on it is less than 30 seconds long. Does it need to be a different file type? Perhaps midi? Thanks!
