How to put 2 pictures overlayed that you can view them?

I had seen in a gallery in upstate ny A picture for example a red flower and then when you looked at it from the side you saw a different flower. I don't know the name of this or how to do it if anyone can help I would love it Thanks in advance.

ps. a friend said maybe a hologram another friend said it is something with graphic design something with a L ?????????
