how to pronounce Kyocera (check it out Japanese speakers)?

Can someone please explain to me why the word is pronounce Key-Oh-Sara here in the US? The company that makes the phone is Japanese, correct? 京セラæ*ªå¼ä¼šç¤¾ Kyousera shiki kaisha. In Japanese, that would be KYO-se-ra. My BA in Japanese language may be utterly useless to me, but I know how to pronounce.... So what up with the crappy 'Key-oh-sara' pronunciation? Did I miss the memo?
